This was sent to me by one of my clients:
This event is called “Rise Up for the Homeless” where people will be standing up all night at the Scottsdale Stadium to promote homeless awareness and raise money for St. Mary’s Food Bank.
He is looking for 1-2 title sponsor’s at $10,000 – $12,500 each.
Thomas Baldrick www.baldrick.com is very, very well connected as you can see from his sight and hence there is a pretty good chance he can pull a few strings on this to maybe even get some national coverage……
Please forward as you see fit.

The good news is St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix is now the #1 food bank in the world. The bad news is it has more non-profit agencies and needy people to serve than ever before.
The Phoenix Philanthropists led by Jerry Heikens and his 800 member team of volunteers, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Arizona agencies serving homeless and hungry, generous private and public sector leaders, print, broadcast and online media outlets, and award-winning media and marketing professional, valley resident Thomas Baldrick, creator of the idea.
“Rise Up for the Homeless“ features “Heat-Seeking Humanitarians” in a unique 25-hour event that makes a stand to help the rising number of homeless and hungry in Arizona. Hundreds of people will raise pledges of at least $125 ($5 per hour) for the honor of empowering themselves by standing for 25-straight hours in the Valley’s heat. That’s right…the rules for the event are: No sitting! No sleeping! No sweating!
